Notes on Shortcut Input
When setting shortcuts, keep the following in mind.
- A combination of a modifier key (⌘/Ctrl, Shift, Option/Alt) and a regular key is required
- Modifier keys alone cannot be set as shortcuts
- If the shortcut conflicts with one used by another app, it may not work
View the Shortcut List
You can view the shortcut list within the app.
- Open the Command Palette (⌘+K or Ctrl+K).
- Type “Shortcuts”.
- Select “Keyboard Shortcuts”.
A shortcut list dialog will appear showing all available shortcuts.
Troubleshooting Shortcuts
If a shortcut is not working, check the following.
- Some shortcuts are disabled when a text input field has focus
- Some shortcuts are disabled when the Command Palette or task creation dialog is open
- If another app is occupying the global shortcut, kakiko’s shortcut will not work
If a global shortcut conflicts with another app, change it to a different key combination from the settings screen.
